I never take things for granted, nor would I ever put someone down for being different. Everyone has beauty within themselves. It's a gift, everyone's been given. Often times, beauty truly comes from within each individual or even animals.
It's how they portray their beauty from within themselves, to the world, that really shows the beauty.
I always think the best gift anyone can ever give to another, is a gift without a name put to it. It comes from the heart n everyone gets paid back. No money or thanks ever given or exchanged. I get such a kick out of it. N we do get paid. We get paid within our hearts n minds.
It doesn't even have to be about Christmas. It can come anytime of the year.
I have some elderly people for whom I go n get things for them they out the week n it could be grocery shopping to getting the kitties n birds some good. Or even the horses hay or deer food or even a jaunt to a drugstore. But it's about them. Just because they are older n can't get around like they once use to. Doesn't mean their dead n useless. You can learn a lot from an elderly person.
I use to throw a party once a year for my workers, contractors as well as customers. Nice party it was. N after about like 3 years of that party. I came to a harsh realization, that they just took it for granted n no one really gave a hoot. So why do it. I closed my doors in 2010, as well as reasons of not finding suitable workers. Go figure right. No one really wants to work n I at times was putting in over 120 plus hours a week. There's only 168 hours in a week mind you. I became a full time babysitter., n hated every minute of it. 14 years.
I took the money from throwing the party n put it to good use elsewhere. I could always find a elderly person, for whom just couldn't get stuff done round there house n being a contractor I could do n repair practically anything as well as a degree in horticulture.
So after finding a few people/ get with their families or friends/ get them out n away from their houses n do the list of stuff they needed to get done n disappear. No name n they never new who. I got such a charge out of that n still do it today, though not as much as I'd love to.
It's so amazing the beauty, that others have within themselves, as well as just a little bit of caring can go so far.
It's not just about Christmas, it's all year. The gal painting, a very nice touch I might add.
My life is far from perfect, but whose life is perfect. Nobodies life is perfect. N ya never have to look very far, to realize how good each n everyone of us has it.
